The day Yayotse came to my school, it felt like light broke through the darkness in my life. For the first time, I saw hope and a future I could reach for. I went home determined and asked my mother to register me, knowing this was the opportunity I had been waiting for. Today, I no longer worry about my monthly menstrual needs, as Yayotse ensures I am cared for with dignity. Through the ‘Beauty with Brain’ (BwB) program, I have a mentor who guides me through adolescence with honesty and support. Her counsel has given me courage, understanding, and a safe space to grow.

Before joining Yayotse, football was just a game to me: run, kick, score, and that was it. But during the Bondey Sports Academy ‘Apply in Life’ session, I discovered it’s a school for life, teaching discipline, teamwork, resilience, and smart decision-making on and off the pitch. Now, every time I step onto the field, I’m not just playing; I’m preparing for life. Yayotse opened my eyes to lessons that will shape my future.
